        Acne can be a very frustrating disease in young and elderly alike. Many of us try the most unusual treatment to get rid of unwanted acne. Acne keloids usually develop on the spot where the initial pimple appeared. Chronic purulent folliculitis in the neck by men often lead to ribbon like, large keloids with cicatricial alopecia. This so-called Aknekeloid or scleroticans Folliculitis nuchae occurs frequently in black and Asians.
Other known treatments for keloid acne scars is freezing the keloid. This often gives good results and no or little pain. But do not try this procedures before asking your doctor.

        Acne keloids are very hard to treat but you can at least make them less visible. This can be done by a simple technique . Apply pressure on the keloid 3-5 minutes and up to 4 times a day. This in time will make it smaller and mare easily to hide. Acne, chickenpox or surgical scars can convert into keloids. There is a familial genetic predisposition to frequent Keloid acne.
